We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant - Payables to manage and oversee the company's accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintain strong vendor relationships, and support efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and compare contracts, pricing, payment terms, and associated charges
- Analyse and improve workflow processes related to accounts payable
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments
- Manage accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors
- Monitor vendor contracts and notify the Director of Finance of upcoming expirations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendors
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High level of punctuality and reliability
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Team-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Prior experience in public accounting is preferred
Compensation and Work Schedule:
- Salary: Up to ?60,000 per month
Work Timings:
- * March to November: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- November to March: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
