We are looking for an energetic and commercially driven A&R Executive with a strong sales mindset to identify, onboard, and manage artists, music creators, and content partners. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development, artist acquisition, talent scouting, music partnerships, or entertainment sales and be passionate about regional and digital music trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover and onboard emerging artists, singers, composers, and content creators.
- Build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, studios, and music producers.
- Drive artist acquisition and content partnerships to expand the music catalogue.
- Negotiate and close music/content acquisition deals.
- Coordinate with marketing, production, and digital teams for music releases.
- Monitor music trends across regional, independent, and digital music markets.
- Evaluate commercial potential of artists and music content.
- Achieve monthly artist onboarding and content acquisition targets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of artists and music partners.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in A&R, Artist Management, Music Sales, Talent Acquisition, Business Development, Content Acquisition, or Entertainment Partnerships.
- Proven experience in sales, client acquisition, or partnership development.
- Strong networking and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of the Indian music ecosystem, especially regional music.
- Ability to identify commercially viable artists and music content.
- Comfortable with field meetings, artist interactions, and event participation.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
