Job Description
As a Regional Logistics Manager / Assistant Manager - Supply Chain, your role will involve managing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless material flow, maintain high service levels, and optimize logistics costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor inward/outward operations, GRN, and stock accuracy
- Track shortages, excess, and damaged materials, and ensure resolution
- Lead stock audits and stock-taking activities
- Plan and optimize route planning & dispatch consolidation
- Track shipments till last-mile delivery and ensure TAT adherence
- Manage dispatches and pending deliveries reporting
- Supervise CNF operations as per SOPs
- Coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams
- Verify vendor billing and reconciliation
- Prepare daily MIS reports (inward, outward, GRN, dispatch)
- Ensure audit readiness and documentation compliance
- Maintain coordination with HO for operational updates
- Drive efficiency in logistics operations
- Improve inventory accuracy and cost control
- Ensure adherence to safety and storage standards
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate with 4+ years of experience in supply chain/logistics
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation & inventory management
- Experience handling CNF operations & high-volume transactions
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint & SAP (mandatory)
- Strong coordination, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Additional Details:
- Experience in Tyre / FMCG / Distribution / Retail industry is a plus
- Certification in Supply Chain / Warehouse Management is desirable
- Exposure to route optimization & cost control initiatives is advantageous
