About the Role
This is a pivotal customer-facing technical role that sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and solution architecture. As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer for the India region, you will be the primary technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle. You will architect solutions, deliver compelling proofs-of-concept, and translate complex customer needs into actionable plans using client's APIs and SDKs to win new business. Beyond the sale, you are also responsible for end-to-end existing customer relationship management, including requirement follow-up, issue coordination, and satisfaction improvement, to drive customer renewal and upselling. Your dual expertise in both winning and nurturing accounts will directly drive revenue growth by building technical credibility, overcoming objections, and ensuring our platform remains the indispensable choice for our customers' real-time engagement needs. What You Will Do
Own Technical Engagement: Lead the technical sales cycle from initial discovery and requirement analysis to solution design, proof-of-concept (POC) delivery, and supporting the transition to post-sales.
Architect & Demonstrate Solutions: Design robust technical architectures for customer scenarios (e.g., live streaming, voice chat, online education). Build, customize, and deliver persuasive demos, POCs, and technical presentations that clearly articulate business value and ROI.
Drive Pre-Sales Activities: Partner closely with Sales Managers to qualify opportunities, conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions, address customer technical queries, and create comprehensive technical proposals and documentation (e.g., solution designs, RFP responses).
Be the Technical Authority: Serve as the trusted technical expert for both customers and internal sales teams. Present confidently to engineers, product managers, and executive-level stakeholders.
Support Market Strategy: Gather frontline market intelligence on customer needs, competitor dynamics, and industry trends to provide feedback for product roadmap and sales strategy.
Customer maintenance: Responsible for full customer lifecycle support, including maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers, following up on needs, coordinating issues and improving customer satisfaction, and promoting customer renewals and additional purchases.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Solution Architecture, preferably within software/SaaS, cloud services industry.
Technical Foundation: Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, and WebRTC. Prior background in audio/video technology, video conferencing, or real-time communication is a significant advantage.
Full-Project Capability: Proven ability to independently manage the end-to-end solution process—from customer research and requirement analysis to business/architecture design and supporting implementation.
Excellent Communicator: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language. Superior documentation skills for creating proposals, architecture diagrams, and presentations.
Strong Business & Sales Acumen: A genuine interest in the sales process, pipeline development, and driving revenue. You are result-oriented and enjoy influencing customer decisions.
Proactive & Collaborative: A self-starter who excels in a fast-paced environment, with strong execution skills, teamwork, and a passion for the internet and cloud technology industry.
