Job Description

As a Demand and Supply Planner at our company, your role involves developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and business objectives. You will use statistical modeling, demand software (SAP IBP), and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine forecasts. Your responsibilities will include continuously adjusting demand forecasts based on sales plans, market shifts, promotions, new product launches, and customer insights. You will work towards ensuring optimal inventory levels by managing stock levels and reordering strategies in coordination with Central Supply Planning to minimize stockouts, overstocks, and obsolete inventory. Acting as the primary interface between the sales, marketing, and supply chain teams will be crucial to ensure alignment. Additionally, you will be involved in procuring and sourcing local items like Pack material, Intermediates, Services, and Finished Products and coordinating with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Graduate preferred with Post Graduations in Supply Chain Management
  • 2+ years of experience in demand/supply planning in FMCG or B2C manufacturing
  • Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management or ERP tools (SAP, IBP) are a plus
