Agronomist

Job Title: Agronomist / Crop Consultant\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPosition Summary:\r\nWe are seeking a motivated Agronomist to support crop production across a variety of crops including cotton, peanuts, soybeans, wheat, and tobacco. This role focuses on field data collection, crop scouting, and delivering accurate, timely recommendations to clients.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tConduct routine crop scouting and field evaluations\r\n\tCollect and input agronomic data accurately\r\n\tPerform scout rechecks to ensure data quality and consistency\r\n\tPrepare and deliver detailed scouting reports to clients\r\n\tAssist with research trials and field studies\r\n\tConduct soil sampling and interpret results\r\n\tSupport nutrient management planning\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nRequired Skills & Experience:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of crop consulting practices\r\n\tExperience with soil sampling and agronomic fieldwork\r\n\tFamiliarity with GIS software and data tools\r\n\tStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\r\n\tAbility to communicate professionally with clients\r\n\tTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skills\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPreferred Qualities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLeadership mindset\r\n\tStrong work ethic and enthusiasm\r\n\tMature, dependable, and responsible\r\n\tCommitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all business activities\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCompensation & Benefits:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSalary commensurate with experience and education\r\n\tCompany truck provided for business use\r\n\tHealth insurance, retirement plan, and additional benefits\r\n\r\n
