Job Description
For The People Outreach (FTPO), a CARF-accredited behavioral health organization, is seeking a DC Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to support the expansion of our behavioral health services into Washington, DC and assist with the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) certification process.
The ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership, assist with program development, ensure compliance with DC DBH standards, and support the implementation of quality behavioral health services for individuals and families in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support FTPO’s DC DBH certification and licensing process
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance for behavioral health service delivery
- Conduct behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with DC DBH regulations, Medicaid documentation requirements, and organizational policies
- Assist with policy development, quality assurance, and program implementation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
- Support staff training, supervision, and clinical best practices as required
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and grow behavioral health programming in Washington, DC
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
Qualifications
- Active Washington, DC LCPC or LICSW license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
- Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health clinical experience preferred
- Knowledge of DC behavioral health regulations and DBH compliance standards preferred
- Experience with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a growing organization
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.
