Job description

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are looking for a Salesforce Architect. Primarily you will be the technical strategist for our salesforce exosystem.  You will be responsible for designing scalable, AI driven, high-performing solutions that integrate seamlessly with our existing tech stack. Your goal is to ensure that our CRM isn't just a database, but a sophisticated engine driving business growth and operational efficiencies.
You will be responsible for  configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. As a Salesforce subject matter expert, you will be integral in the integration of applications and ensuring that the value of the system is maximized.   You will be partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to provide technical expertise, lead system enhancements, and ensure that every employee and stakeholder can interact with the CRM system efficiently and securely. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution design: lead the architectural design of end-to-end solutions focusing on scalability, security and the clicks not code philosophy where appropriate.  
  • Data and security design: design the data model, defining identity and access management and sharing data sharing is set up appropriately
  • Technical governance: establish and enforce coding standards deployment process (CI/CD), and data Integrity protocols.  Also includes, integration strategy design and managing complex Integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems using middleware like Workato, Mulesoft or Boomi. 
  • Stakeholder management: translating complex technical requirements into actual business insights for leadership and department heads. Beyond technology, this role is a leader who must often build organizational buy-in for new Solutions, ensuring that it aligns to stakeholders needs,  while ensuring scalability.
  • Technical Road map: planning work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize features and maintain long-term technical roadmap for the platform. 
  • Mentorship: provide guidance and code reviews for Salesforce developers and administrators to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Innovation and Improvement: establish a culture of continuous improvement by actively evaluating new Salesforce features, including Agentforce, AI to enhance business efficiency.
  • Training and Support: develops guidelines, documentation.  Provide high-tier technical support to ensure the successful adoption of system changes and best practices.

Here's What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Experience with developing on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and CPQ platforms, with 3+ years in an Architect capacity.  
  • Mastery of apex, lightning web components, flow and the Salesforce data model. with deep understanding of event driven architecture , REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth  and asynchronous processing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into business-friendly language.
  • A solid track record of developing in complex Salesforce environments, including business process configuration, security, and reporting.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with experience in automation and an understanding of the interactions between people, processes, and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience working in Agile environments, with the ability to pivot quickly when business strategies change.
  • Ability to work with XML, Java and Web Service based integrations.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies
  • Strong Problem-solving abilities and work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Salesforce Agentforce Certified professional with experience implementing AI-driven automation and Agentforce capabilities within Salesforce ecosystems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-$200,000 and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training.
