Operations and Logistics Coordinator

FlexStaff is hiring an experienced Logistics & Sales Operations Coordinator for our client, a food manufacturer and wholesaler. This is a full-time position and it is 100% on-site in their Bronx facility, with their future site to be set up in Moonachie, New Jersey. Candidates applying should consider the ability to commute to Moonachie.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) shipments.
• You will bid out deliveries to secure competitive rates, with a heavy focus on frozen food shipments.
• You will be responsible for monitoring customer portals daily to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent stock-outs.
• You will handle order processing, customer inquiries, and performance deduction reconciliation by matching Bills of Lading against invoices.
• You will conduct collections for overdue accounts.
• You will support the migration of inventory to their new NJ facility starting in May.
• You must communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Production/Warehouse teams to sync schedules and develop "Plan B" options for any production delays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Logistics or Sales Operations preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills for freight bidding and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team oriented mentality.
• Ability to commute between NJ and Bronx during the transition (until late Q3).
• Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred.
