Job Description – Embedded Systems Engineer (IoT & Cloud Integration)
Position: Embedded Systems Engineer Location: [Dwarka sector 12 New Delhi] Experience: 2–5 years
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Embedded Systems Engineer with strong experience in embedded programming, touch display UI development, and IoT cloud integration (AWS preferred). The candidate will work on designing, developing, and deploying IoT- enabled devices that capture and send data (GPS, temperature, audio recordings, sensor streams) to AWS servers in a structured, secure, and scalable format.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems (ESP32/STM32/ARM or similar MCUs).
· Design and implement user interfaces for touchscreen displays (LVGL, TFT, ST7789, or similar libraries/frameworks).
· Work on data acquisition from multiple sensors (GPS, temperature/humidity, 4G module, microphones, etc.) and ensure real-time data processing.
· Implement secure communication protocols (HTTPs, MQTT, WebSockets) for device-to-cloud data transfer.
· Integrate devices with AWS IoT Core / AWS Lambda / AWS S3 / DynamoDB for data ingestion and storage.
· Ensure data formatting and structuring for multiple devices to be easily consumed by backend systems.
· Collaborate with cloud/backend teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded devices with AWS infrastructure.
· Debug, optimize, and test embedded systems for low power consumption and reliability.
· Maintain documentation, version control (Git), and testing frameworks for embedded projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ and/or Python for microcontrollers.
· Good understanding of RTOS (FreeRTOS preferred) and embedded peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, ADC, etc.).
· Experience with touchscreen GUI frameworks (LVGL, TFT_eSPI, or similar).
· Knowledge of AWS IoT Core, AWS S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and related cloud services.
· Familiarity with IoT data protocols – MQTT, HTTPS, CoAP.
· Experience in handling GPS modules, environmental sensors, and I2S microphones.
· Knowledge of secure data handling and OTA firmware updates.
· Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
· Experience with ESP-IDF, PlatformIO, Arduino framework on ESP32/ESP32-S3.
· Knowledge of containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) for AWS backend integration.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
· Understanding of industrial IoT (IIoT) standards.
Education
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
