Job Description

Finksburg Pharmacy is a family owned and operated pharmacy looking for a full-time certified pharmacy technician. We offer free delivery, medication synchronization programs, vaccinations, compliance packaging, and clinical services. We are open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm.

We are looking for a reliable, professional, hard working, and enthusiastic pharmacy technician who is seeking a family-oriented, quality-focused, patient-centered work environment. Must be efficient and flexible, able to multitask, and be an excellent communicator with outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.

Tasks will include, but not be limited to:

Processing new and refill prescriptions and performing pharmacy calculations as necessary to fulfill orders
Problem-solving insurance claim rejections and completing prior authorizations
Entering/filling medication orders (vials and blister packaging) accurately and efficiently
Communicating with physicians and other medical professionals on order clarifications and verifications, ensuring a patient-centered care model
Answering phone calls and assisting patients in store
Printing, scanning and maintaining paperwork
Managing A/R accounts and ensuring timely payments
Inventory management
Covering long-term care pharmacy technician duties as needed

Qualifications

Registered Pharmacy Technician (required)
Retail pharmacy experience: 1 year (preferred)
Customer service experience: 1 year (preferred)

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time available; let us know your employment needs; Benefits vary on number of weekly hours worked

Schedule: Monday - Friday, plus every other Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
