Job Description
We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, a manufacturing company.
We are looking for someone for a 6-month contract to support operations related to receiving and managing non-conformities in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
Manage receiving issues (approximately 5 per day on average)
Handle non-conformities (receiving and inventory)
Follow up with suppliers (e.g., incorrect quantities, delivery errors)
Communicate with suppliers to validate and resolve issues
Implement medium- and long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problems
Support inventory management
Contribute to continuous process improvement
Profile Sought
Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems (receiving/procurement) - minimum 2 years
Good understanding of:
POs (Purchase Orders)
Purchase Requisitions
Links between different modules
Ability to analyze issues and propose sustainable solutions
Proactive, capable of taking initiative and driving improvements
Results-oriented
Able to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders
Dynamic and comfortable in an operational environment (not isolated)
Functional English communication skills
Working Conditions
Location: Salaberry-de-Valleyfield (on-site, 5 days/week)
Flexible schedule:
Between 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
40 hours per week
Start: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Purchasing Director
