Job Summary

Become a part of our Distribution Center team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk and support our Bulk Operation by providing production and quality assistance. Your main duties will include processing damages, arranging pick slots, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Key Responsibilities

Supporting Bulk Operations: Aiding in managing damaged stock and realigning misplaced items to their appropriate pick slots to support Order Fillers in maintaining exceptional quality standards. Equipment Handling: Operating P.I.T. (Power Industrial Truck) equipment securely. Completing daily safety checks and notifying maintenance or management of any faults. Process Streamlining: Disassembling bulk packages and flipping cases to ensure barcodes are clearly visible for efficient sorting. Workspace Maintenance: Sustaining an organized work area and performing regular cleaning duties to facilitate a smooth transition for the next shift. Safety Compliance: Following all company safety procedures, utilizing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and advocating for a safe work environment within the Bulk department.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: No previous experience or formal education is required, as we offer training while at work. Physical Capability: Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally handle objects up to 80 lbs. Should be comfortable with tasks that involve walking, standing, bending, and kneeling for the entire shift. Reliability: Essential to be consistent, reliable, and open to working overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Communication: Proficiency in communicating with colleagues and management is crucial for effective teamwork.

Working Conditions

Job duties are carried out in a warehouse that lacks climate control, resulting in indoor temperatures being subject to outside weather conditions and controlled with fans and heaters. This environment may involve tasks conducted in restricted spaces or exposure to airborne particles in compliance with OSHA regulations.
