Job Summary

Responsible for creating CAM programs and performing prove-outs.

Essential duties and responsibilities

· Prepare CAM programs using CAM software.

· Should have knowledge of manual programming for CNC Turnmill and 5-axis VMC (Fanuc control) Makino machines.

· Operate and set up machines for prove-out and part inspection.

· Should have knowledge of cutting tools, parameter selection, and prove-out procedures.

· Prepare jig and fixture drawings or concepts suitable for respective processes.

· Responsible for creating 3D models and drafting using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

· Select cutting tools, prepare tool lists, manage purchase requisitions, and follow up on orders.

· Should have knowledge of preparing setup sheets, inspection reports/control plans, work instructions, SOPs, BOM and routing in the ERP system

• Train operators for part setup and inspection and support to fix Problems in production.
• Should have Knowledge of GD&T, able to read drawings and inspect parts.

· Respond to feedback from production for any improvement suggestions in process sheet.

· Ensure ISO implementation and compliance.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors & Maintaining 5s at work area.

Qualifications / Education, Skills and Experience Required

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· At least 8–12 years of experience in CAM programming.

· Must have experience with SolidWorks or Auto Cad

· Aware of all Machining process & Knowledge of GD&T.

· Preferred background in Medical device implants, Aerospace, or Precision machining industries
