House Bookkeeper Accountant

In-House Full-Cycle Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Location: Don Mills & Lawrence, Toronto (In-Person Only)

We are a well-established importer of premium wines and spirits looking for an experienced Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to join our collaborative team. This is an in-office position located at Don Mills and Lawrence.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a small business environment, and appreciates being part of a close-knit team. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for this role to grow into a full-time position, particularly for someone with social media and marketing experience.

Schedule

• Part-time: 20–30 hours per week
• Preferred workdays: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Flexible schedule available for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks Pro
• Accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Cost recoveries and foreign currency transactions
• Budget management, forecasting and promotional expense tracking
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end processes
• Work closely with management to meet reporting deadlines
• Payroll is outsourced (Ceridian); no payroll processing required

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience using QuickBooks Pro (required)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable and foreign currency transactions
• Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team
• Experience in the LCBO, wine, spirits or beverage alcohol industry is considered a strong asset
• Additional languages such as French, Italian or Spanish are an asset
