Job Position: Spare Parts Manager- Inventory
Job Role To lead and manage the entire spare parts department, ensuring optimum inventory levels, high fill rates, and seamless support to the service and body shop teams.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
8–10 years in an automotive dealership environment.
- Mandatory Expertise:
Comprehensive management of end-to-end inventory operations specifically for
Mahindra & Mahindra
parts.
- OEM Compliance:
Proven ability to implement and oversee Mahindra standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse management.
Job Description
- Inventory Control:
Maintain 100% availability of fast-moving parts while keeping inventory lean for slow-moving items.
- Stock Management:
Monitor and reduce "Dead Stock" through regular analysis and liquidation of aging inventory.
- Reporting:
Maintain and analyze critical MIS reports, including Stock-out, Fill rate, and Inventory turnover.
- Supply Chain:
Coordinate directly with the OEM (Mahindra) for timely indenting, supply, and procurement.
- Operations:
Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts to ensure zero discrepancies in the warehouse.
- Team Leadership:
Lead and train a team of parts advisors and storekeepers while resolving claims or warranty issues.
Skill Set
- Systems:
Expert knowledge of Mahindra & Mahindra parts systems and catalogs.
- Software:
Strong command of Inventory Management Software and MS Excel.
- Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
- Technical:
In-depth understanding of automotive technical components and supply chain logistics.
