We're hiring a Media Content Analyst / Writer to join our Media Team at EMARKETER.
The Role and Team:
As a Media Content Analyst / Writer, you will play a key role in creating the content that introduces audiences to EMARKETER’s trusted data, forecasts, and analysis. You'll research, analyze, and develop compelling content across newsletters, articles, reports, webinars, podcasts, and custom research programs, helping marketers, advertisers, and technology leaders make smarter business decisions. This role is ideal for a curious, data-driven storyteller who is passionate about digital marketing, media, commerce, and emerging technology trends.
This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office, with regular in-office expectations.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future and be within commuting distance of our New York City office. Relocation assistance is not available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and write content for newsletters, articles, white papers, custom research reports, and other media initiatives.
- Analyze proprietary and third-party data to support sponsored research programs and content development.
- Leverage generative AI tools to enhance content creation, research, and operational efficiency.
- Measure content performance and recommend optimizations to improve audience engagement and business impact.
- Moderate webinars, participate in podcasts, and represent EMARKETER at industry events as a subject matter expert.
- Build and engage audiences for your insights across professional and social media channels, particularly LinkedIn.
- Stay current on developments across digital marketing, advertising, media, commerce, and technology sectors.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience creating B2B or B2C digital content for a media company, publisher, research firm, or content marketing organization.
- Proven ability to develop compelling narratives from research, data, and industry insights.
- Strong knowledge of the digital marketing, advertising, media, commerce, and technology landscape.
- Experience using generative AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to support content creation and research workflows.
- Experience presenting or moderating podcasts, webinars, panels, or industry events.
- Exceptional written communication, research, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary & Benefits:
- Base salary: $80,000–$90,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
