Job Description
You will be responsible for managing the finances of Kido's India operations in Bangalore, ensuring accurate book-keeping, financial reporting, and adherence to Finance Policies. This role will involve working closely with teams in Mumbai and other countries, reporting to the Group Head of Finance and the Regional CEO.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with teams on annual budget process, including operational and capital budgets
- Supervise financial compliance to ensure adherence to regulations and requirements
- Maintain fiscal calendar for reporting deadlines and respond to requests from regulators and auditors
- Deliver timely financial reports to leadership team, school leaders, Finance Committee, and Board of Directors
- Manage invoicing process, review monthly financial statements, and oversee year-end audits
- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with financial and tax reporting laws
- Oversee treasury functions, aged accounts receivable, GST, TDS filings, and company secretary related work
- Maintain appropriate insurance policies and carry out risk management program
- *Qualifications Required:**
- Professional qualification such as CA/ACCA/CIMA with 3 years of relevant experience
- Alternatively, Bcom/Mcom with 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong end-to-end accounting knowledge with experience in full accounts closure
- Proven experience in financial management, strategic planning, and international finance
- Current knowledge of accounting policies in India or willingness to learn quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of accounting systems like Xero, Fathom, Dext Dropbox, and Slack
- Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to professional ethics
Please note that the salary range for this position is INR 800,000 - 1,000,000 per annum, depending on experience and profile.
