About the Role
This position supports the Acute Care program team by assisting with the deployment and management of acute care services and solutions. The Junior Business Analyst supports initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements, supporting implementation activities, developing standard work, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic, technology‑driven environment.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Manager, Acute Care Services, you will:
- Support initiatives by gathering, prioritizing, documenting, and managing business requirements.
- Assist in documenting business processes, system requirements, and specifications.
- Develop and monitor data quality metrics and standards.
- Provide clear documentation to support implementation, training, and incident management.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and client perspectives.
- Support adoption, testing, and implementation of technology solutions.
- Apply problem‑solving approaches in complex, evolving IT environments.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field. An equivalent combination of experience with a diploma in Business Information Systems or an IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) may be considered.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role within an integrated IT/healthcare support environment.
- Knowledge of requirements analysis, solution design, and business process improvement techniques.
- Understanding of information analysis and IT architecture concepts, including system integration.
- Experience supporting testing, implementation, or adoption of IT systems.
- Strong documentation skills including requirements and test artifacts.
- ITIL certification or Certified Business Analysis Professional designation is considered an asset.
