As we expand our offerings and reach, we are looking for an Academic Lead who can provide strong academic direction to the organisation and ensure that our solutions are built on sound educational principles. This role will work closely with the leadership, product and implementation teams and will be responsible for shaping the academic vision behind Edinno's programs, curriculum, products and learning experiences.
Role Overview
The Academic Lead will be the academic anchor for the organisation. The individual will be responsible for developing academic frameworks, guiding curriculum design, reviewing learning outcomes and ensuring that all STEM and Robotics solutions are educationally relevant, engaging and impactful. The role requires a strong understanding of STEM education, Robotics, Coding, Design Thinking and emerging technologies, along with a deep familiarity with educational standards, learning frameworks and school systems.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Direction
- Provide academic leadership across all STEM, Robotics and technology-based learning solutions developed by Edinno.
- Define learning goals, competency frameworks and progression pathways for students across different age groups.
- Ensure that all programs and products align with established educational standards and learning outcomes.
- Act as the academic reviewer for new products, curriculum and solution concepts.
Curriculum Development
- Lead the design and continuous improvement of STEM and Robotics curriculum for K-12 learners.
- Develop structured learning pathways covering Robotics, Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Design, Maker Education and related domains.
- Create assessment frameworks, rubrics and evaluation mechanisms to measure student learning and skill development.
- Review curriculum regularly to ensure relevance to current educational needs and industry trends. Research and Innovation
- Track developments in STEM education, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and emerging learning methodologies.
- Study national and international frameworks and identify practices that can strengthen Edinno's offerings.
- Contribute to academic papers, whitepapers, case studies and thought leadership initiatives.
- Recommend new academic programs and solution areas based on market needs and educational gaps. Product Development Support
- Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure educational integrity of all solutions.
- Translate academic requirements into practical product features and learning experiences.
- Review prototypes, content and solution designs from an academic perspective.
- Help define measurable indicators of learning impact for products and programs.
Academic Quality and Impact
- Establish quality standards for curriculum, content and program delivery.
- Monitor implementation outcomes and recommend improvements wherever required.
- Conduct periodic reviews of deployed solutions to evaluate their effectiveness and educational value.
- Build systems to capture evidence of student learning, engagement and skill development.
Teacher Development
- Design training frameworks and professional development programs for educators.
- Support teachers in effectively implementing STEM and Robotics programs.
- Develop resources, guides and certification pathways where required.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with schools, educators, academic experts and institutional partners to understand evolving needs.
- Represent Edinno in academic discussions, conferences, workshops and industry forums.
- Support customer discussions by providing academic inputs and solution guidance.
Desired Qualification & Skill Set
- Master's Degree in Education, STEM Education, Educational Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in curriculum development, STEM education, Robotics education or educational program design.
- Strong understanding of educational frameworks, competency-based learning and assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with CBSE, NEP 2020, IB, Cambridge and other leading educational frameworks.
- Experience working with STEM, Robotics, Coding, AI or Maker Education programs.
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance academic rigour with practical implementation requirements.
