Job Title: Senior Partnership Manager – Global Community & Events

Location: India (Remote)

Role Overview

EC-Council is looking for a Community & Events Leader to build and scale the Global CISO Council ecosystem through high-impact engagement programs, global chapters, and industry-led events.

This role is focused on community building, engagement, and program execution , with an emphasis on creating meaningful experiences for cybersecurity professionals globally.

The ideal candidate will come from cybersecurity, tech communities, media, or event-led ecosystems , with hands-on experience in building and managing engaged communities and large-scale events .

Key Responsibilities

Global Community & Chapters Development (30%)

  • Build and scale regional and global community chapters for the Global CISO Council
  • Drive engagement programs including knowledge sessions, roundtables, and peer forums
  • Work closely with CISOs, security leaders, and practitioners to foster an active community
  • Develop community playbooks, engagement models, and governance frameworks
  • Track community health metrics: engagement, participation, retention

Global Events & Engagement (70%)

  • Plan and execute global and regional events (virtual & in-person): Roundtables, Leadership forums, Summits & meetups
  • Own end-to-end event lifecycle : concept → speaker onboarding → execution → feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for seamless delivery
  • Ensure events drive community engagement and thought leadership

Sponsorships & Revenue Ownership

  • Drive sponsorship acquisition for events and community initiatives
  • Build and manage commercial models and P&L for events
  • Identify monetization opportunities across chapters, partnerships, and events

Partnership & Ecosystem Management (NPO-style)

Build relationships with

  • Cybersecurity leaders (CISOs, practitioners)
  • Industry bodies and associations
  • Community partners and institutions

Enable collaborations, co-hosted events, and knowledge initiatives

  • Support partner engagement across the community lifecycle

Operations & Partner Support

  • Set up and manage operational processes for partner and chapter support
  • Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, partners, and external vendors
  • Maintain dashboards, reporting structures, and execution timelines
  • Act as a central SPOC for ecosystem operations

Required Experience

  • 8–14 years of experience in:
  • Experience in launching or scaling chapters, communities, or networks (global preferred)
  • Strong exposure to sponsorships, event P&L, and partner-driven revenue models
  • Experience working in NPOs, associations, or community-led organizations is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Proven ability to manage cross-border stakeholders
