Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru South for a Risk Underwriting Analyst. The role involves analyzing financial data to assess risk, fraud, collaborating with teams. Also responsible for reviewing customer applications, assessing financial risk, evaluating credit decisions, investigating suspicious applications, and hindsighting cases. The role will work closely with Risk, Operations, Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to improve underwriting quality, fraud prevention mechanisms, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and experience in assessing financial data and creating risk models
• Proficiency in statistical tools, data analytics, and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of financial markets, credit analysis, and underwriting processes
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaboration
• Detail orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience in fintech or financial technology platforms is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
