Position: Adult Day School Credit Teacher - English

Start: May 4, 2026

End: June 26, 2026 / all classes are dependent upon student enrollment

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 2.5 hours per day (1 period)

(8:30 – 11:00 a.m. OR 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. OR 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.)

Location: Archbishop Anthony Meagher Catholic Continuing Education Centre Ajax

Applications are currently being accepted for the above position. The successful applicant should have teachable(s) in at least one of the subject area(s) identified in the above posting and hold certification in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Required:

• Certificate of Qualification / Interim Certificate of Qualification (must be in good standing)
• Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications

Desired:

• Adult and Continuing Education Experience
• Experience teaching on Desire2Learn (D2L) platform as the course is run on D2L with adult students attending in person, on-line, and/or asynchronously

Rate of Pay:

• Will be paid according to the Continuing Education hourly rate, $57.84/hour, as per the current collective agreement for each designated day of the program.
