Role Overview

The SEO Specialist is the hands-on executor who turns strategy into published, optimised content and pages. Where the Analyst finds what needs to be done, the Specialist does it. You will manage the content calendar, implement on-page optimisations, coordinate with writers, and ensure every published page is SEO-complete before it goes live. You understand not just what to optimise but why — and you can explain it to a content writer in plain language.

What You Will Own

• On-Page Execution — End-to-end on-page SEO implementation — H-tag structure, keyword placement, internal linking, schema markup, meta data — across all service and blog pages
• Content Operations — Content calendar management — coordinate with writers, review drafts for SEO completeness, publish and optimise final content
• Page Optimisation — New page creation and optimisation — service pages, industry pages, case study pages, blog posts — ensuring each is built to rank before launch
• Internal Linking — Internal linking architecture — identify and implement internal linking opportunities across the full site to distribute page authority effectively
• Schema Markup — Schema markup implementation — FAQPage, Article, Organization, Service, BreadcrumbList — tested via Google Rich Results Test before deployment
• Content Refresh — Content refresh programme — identify underperforming pages, implement improvement recommendations, track recovery in rankings
• Technical Coordination — Coordinate with development team for technical SEO implementation — redirects, canonical tags, hreflang, page speed fixes
• AEO Implementation — AEO content structuring — format content to answer specific queries in a way that triggers AI Overview and featured snippet selection

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on SEO execution — not management, actual implementation
• Deep understanding of on-page SEO — heading hierarchy, semantic HTML, keyword density vs keyword integration, TF-IDF
• Experience with WordPress — publishing, Yoast/RankMath configuration, custom field SEO, image optimisation
• Schema markup implementation experience — beyond just installing a plugin
• Strong English writing and editing skills — you will review and improve content written by others
• Experience optimising IT services content — understanding buyer intent for technology services
• Familiarity with international SEO best practices — hreflang, geo-targeting, market-specific keyword intent differences
