About the Role

We’re hiring an

Email Strategy Manager

to own the

strategy, architecture, execution, and optimization

of email across DigiStore24.

This is

not

a copy-only role.

This is

not

a basic ESP operator position.

This role is for someone who understands how to:

  • Design email systems that scale across

large lists and multiple audiences

  • Use data, segmentation, and tagging to drive

measurable revenue impact

  • Align email campaigns tightly with

sales and marketing objectives

  • Build long-term nurturing engines, not just one-off blasts

You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, partnerships, analytics, and creative to ensure email is a

reliable, compounding growth channel

Key Responsibilities

Email Strategy & Revenue Alignment

  • Own the

email strategy

across multiple brands, audiences, and lifecycle stages

  • Translate sales and marketing goals into:

Campaigns

Automated sequences

Ongoing broadcast strategies

  • Design email programs to support:

Lead nurturing

Offer discovery

Affiliate activation

Vendor acquisition

Retention and reactivation

  • Ensure every campaign has a

clear objective and success metric

Campaign Design & Execution

  • Plan, build, and launch:

Promotional campaigns

Product and offer launches

Sales enablement sequences

Educational and value-driven nurtures

  • Manage

broadcast calendars

across multiple brands and audiences

  • Partner with creative teams on:

Copy direction

Layout and structure

CTA strategy

  • Ensure campaigns are executed cleanly, tested thoroughly, and deployed reliably at scale

Lifecycle, Nurture & Automation Systems

  • Architect and maintain:

Multi-step nurture sequences

Onboarding flows

Re-engagement and win-back campaigns

  • Design and implement:

Dynamic tagging systems

Progressive profiling strategies

Behavioral and event-based triggers

  • Continuously refine flows based on performance, user behavior, and business priorities

Audience Segmentation & Data Management

This role requires deep comfort with data.

You will

  • Design and maintain

audience segmentation frameworks

across large lists

  • Use dynamic and progressive tagging to:

Personalize messaging

Improve relevance

Reduce fatigue

  • Partner with analytics and data teams to:

Validate data integrity

Improve list hygiene and deliverability

Ensure clean handoffs between systems

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Define KPIs beyond open rates and clicks, including:

Revenue per send

Conversion contribution

Funnel progression

List health and engagement trends

  • Run structured testing across:

Subject lines

Messaging

Cadence

Audience definitions

  • Use insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and lifecycle performance

What We’re Looking For

Tools & Platforms

  • Experience with

Maropost

and

HubSpot

is strongly preferred, but not required

  • Comfort working across:

CRM and marketing automation platforms

Analytics tools

Data warehouses or BI dashboards

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflows

Ideal Background

You likely come from one or more of the following:

  • Lifecycle or retention marketing roles at scale
  • Email leadership roles in SaaS, marketplaces, or performance-driven businesses
  • Growth marketing roles with heavy email ownership
  • Agency-side lifecycle marketing with enterprise clients
