Responsibilities

• Learn our frontend stack — its patterns, performance considerations, and structural choices — and apply them in your work
• Translate well-scoped tickets into shipped frontend work; ask good questions of PM and design when requirements are unclear
• Contribute to our transactional and lifecycle email infrastructure under guidance
• Build primarily in TypeScript and modern CSS
• Make occasional C#/.NET changes where the frontend meets the backend, with support
• Participate in CI/CD improvements for the frontend
• Use AI coding tools effectively and keep evolving your skills as the tools change
• Actively unblock yourself by seeking feedback, context, and pairing with teammates
• Apply accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance (Core Web Vitals, render perf) practices in your work

Required

• Experience delivering well-scoped features end to end
• 1–2 years of professional frontend experience (internships, bootcamp projects, or substantial personal projects count)
• Direct experience with TypeScript and modern CSS
• React experience (or equivalent depth with a component framework)
• Experience thoughtfully experimenting with and using the right AI tools for your coding practice

Strongly preferred

• Experience delivering self-directed projects end-to-end (personally or professionally)
• Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) familiarity

Not required, but an added bonus if you have some of the following:

• A track record of improving efficiency of releases
• Comfortable making C#/.NET changes
• Experience shipping or improving a transactional or lifecycle email system
• Exposure to performance, observability, or deliverability platforms
• Cloud architecture experience, especially Azure (AWS and GCP count too)
• Python
