<p>General Purpose:</p>
<p>The Manager, CRM & Email Marketing, is responsible for owning the email channel and orchestrating campaign frameworks across Dice’s client and candidate business lines. On the client side, this role drives lead-to-customer conversion through targeted, data-informed email programs that support employer and recruiter acquisition goals. On the candidate side, this role leads re-engagement and lifecycle strategy for tech professionals across a broad range of campaign types and program touchpoints. <br>Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Demand Generation, this role works cross-functionally with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Data & Analytics, and Content teams to ensure email programs are strategically sound, well-executed, and continuously optimized. </p>
<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </p>
<ul>
<li>Own the email channel end-to-end across client (employer, recruiter, staffing) and candidate (tech professional) audiences, developing and managing campaign frameworks mapped to audience segments and funnel stages. Manage the email marketing calendar, ensuring alignment with broader campaign priorities, product moments, and business goals.</li>
<li>Maintain email list health, segmentation logic, and database hygiene in partnership with Marketing Operations and Data teams.</li>
<li>Develop and manage email campaign frameworks, including triggered and drip programs, designed to <br>move client leads from initial capture through nurture, MQL progression, and conversion to paying <br>customer.</li>
<li>Develop audience segmentation strategies tailored to employer and recruiter personas, ensuring <br>messaging is relevant to role, intent, and stage in the buying journey.</li>
<li>Partner with Demand Generation and Sales to align email programs with pipeline goals and ensure <br>seamless handoffs between marketing-qualified leads and sales activity.</li>
<li>Support email programs targeting existing clients, including product adoption, upsell, and <br>retention campaigns that drive engagement and reduce churn.<br>Support partner marketing campaigns by developing and executing co-branded or partner-sponsored <br>email programs.</li>
<li>Develop and execute candidate lifecycle campaigns across re-engagement, product enhancements, and persona-based engagement, delivering relevant messaging based on user behavior, career stage, and lifecycle status.</li>
<li>Oversee the job alerts email program, overseeing template quality, deliverability, and ongoing optimization to ensure alerts drive meaningful engagement and return visits. Manage newsletter delivery, including planning, execution, and performance tracking in partnership with Content and Product Marketing teams.</li>
<li>Support client-sponsored email programs, coordinating execution, targeting, and reporting for advertiser-funded sends to targeted Dice candidate segments.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain onboarding email journeys for newly registered candidates, guiding new users to key platform features and driving early engagement.</li>
<li>Manage Dice’s email marketing programs within Marketo and Iterable, building and maintaining workflows, trigger-based programs, and campaign templates.</li>
<li>Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure technical infrastructure, integrations, data flows, and list management support campaign requirements.</li>
<li>Oversee email deliverability, ensuring strong sender reputation, inbox placement, and compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA requirements.</li>
<li>Track and analyze key email performance metrics including open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, unsubscribe rate, and revenue influence, and develop regular reports for marketing leadership with insights and recommendations.</li>
<li>Conduct A/B and multivariate tests across subject lines, copy, creative, send time, and audience segmentation, translating results into actionable improvements.</li>
<li>Support ad hoc email, CRM, and lifecycle marketing initiatives as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p>Required Knowledge and Skills</p>
<p>• Experience managing email programs across both client and candidate audiences, ideally within a digital platform, marketplace, or technology-adjacent environment.<br>• Strong working knowledge of email deliverability best practices and compliance requirements (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).</p>
<p>• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and a track record of using test results to drive campaign improvement.<br>• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4) and email performance reporting.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</p>
<p>• Strong understanding of client-side demand generation and lead funnel dynamics, including how email supports MQL progression and pipeline development.<br>• Proven ability to develop and execute lifecycle and re-engagement programs that drive measurable audience reactivation and engagement.<br>• Hands-on proficiency with Marketo and Iterable.<br>• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, comfortable pulling reports, interpreting performance data, and turning insights into campaign decisions.<br>• Strong segmentation instincts, with the ability to define audience cohorts that improve relevance and campaign performance.<br>• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across demand generation, content, brand, product, and analytics teams, and comfort presenting to senior marketing leadership.<br>• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously.<br>• Clear, confident communicator in writing, in meetings, and when presenting to senior stakeholders.<br>• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.<br>• 5-7 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, with demonstrated ownership of the email channel.<br>• Experience managing email programs across both client and candidate audiences, ideally within a digital platform, marketplace, or technology-adjacent environment.<br>• Strong working knowledge of email deliverability best practices and compliance requirements (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA).<br>• Experience with A/B testing methodologies and a track record of using test results to drive campaign improvement.<br>• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/GA4) and email performance reporting.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</p>
