Role Overview:
As an Assistant Vice President in the US CFO function at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable financial performance in the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of various regulatory and financial reports, thereby supporting the financial stability of Deutsche Bank USA. Key Responsibilities:
- Process, prepare, review, and submit regulatory report filings to bodies such as the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, OCC, FDIC, SEC, and FINRA.
- Conduct significant manual and complex reconciliation activities to ensure alignment across regulatory reports.
- Analyze and comment on proposed and final regulatory rules, preparing quarterly analytics and variance analyses for senior management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, lead process improvement initiatives, and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure appropriate controls across all financial processes and maintain strong working relationships with the US CFO team.
Qualification Required:
- 5-10+ years of regulatory reporting experience in a Global Investment Bank.
- In-depth understanding of banking regulatory reporting rules and regulations, including agencies like OCC, FDIC, SEC, and FINRA.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools like SAP, Python, PowerQuery, or similar data analytics platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA, MBA, or advanced degree is beneficial.
