Role Description

DeMatha Catholic High School is seeking a dedicated Freshman and JV Soccer Coach for a full-time on-site position in Hyattsville, MD. The coach will oversee the development and performance of the freshman and JV soccer teams, plan and execute training sessions, and implement game strategies. Responsibilities include mentoring players to grow athletically, emotionally, and academically, fostering teamwork, communicating with parents and staff, and ensuring a positive team culture aligned with the school's values.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Soccer Coaching and a proven track record in player development
• Strong Communication skills for effective interaction with players, parents, and staff
• Experience or knowledge in Coaching and Football fundamentals
• An understanding of the educational environment and the ability to mentor student-athletes
• Commitment to fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development
• Previous experience in an educational institution is a plus
