Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Math/Science Teacher position located in Hyattsville, MD. Responsibilities include delivering engaging and effective instruction in mathematics and/or science, creating and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The role also involves maintaining open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support all aspects of student development and success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mathematics and/or Science Education
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
• Certification or qualifications as a teacher, with strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all backgrounds and learning styles
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field
• Experience in secondary education is preferred
