Salesforce QA Tester

Position- Salesforce QA

Location Address: Hybrid-3 days in office – Toronto

Contract Duration: 6 months to start with + extension based on performance

Responsibilities

• Recreate and troubleshoot production bugs
• Perform functional and regression testing
• Conduct end-to-end testing across Salesforce and ETL workflows
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, BSAs, and Developers
• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
• Validate system modifications prior to implementation
• Develop testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, and usability
• Document defects using bug tracking tools and communicate findings to developers
• Analyze and document issues related to program functionality, output, or UI
• Monitor bug resolution and maintain defect databases
• Plan test schedules and strategies aligned with project scope and delivery timelines

Must-Have Skills:

1. 8+ years of progressive experience as a SF QA Test Analyst

2. Salesforce Admin Certification

3. 5+ years of experience with manual test plans, scripting, and reporting

4. Strong background in Banking/Financial Services (large banks or insurance preferred; telco/marketing cloud experience not applicable)

5. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Talend
• Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools
• Exposure to nCino testing

• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle high-scale projects
• Sound decision-making ability with an objective, analytical mindset
