Fitness Centre Site Lead- Surrey

We are looking for a high-energy, visionary Site Lead to serve as the primary steward of success and the driving force behind the culture at one of our corporate clients fitness facilities located in Surrey.
The Role: What You’ll Do
As the Site Lead, you are the architect of a safe, high-energy wellness environment. You provide the "Gold Standard” of service while mentoring your team to achieve their best.
- Empower Your Team: Act as the direct supervisor and mentor for the Fitness Coordinator and Group Fitness Instructors, providing ongoing coaching and performance accountability.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the facility’s staffing schedule, group fitness schedule, and administrative requirements to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Facility Stewardship: Conduct high-level safety audits, manage equipment maintenance logs, and serve as the primary liaison for Property Management and professional repair technicians.
- Community & Growth: Set the tone for a "Yes-First" culture, building rapport with users and implementing standardized quarterly programming as shared by Curtis Health.
- Strategic Oversight: Analyze attendance and class metrics to make data-driven recommendations for facility growth and programming pivots.
- Emergency Command: Serve as the Lead Responder for site emergencies, ensuring the team is fully trained on safety guidelines and emergency protocols.
What You Bring to the Table
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead by example, manage payroll (Payworks), and provide constructive "spot-corrections" to a diverse team.
- Certifications: * Group Fitness Certification (BCRPA, canfitpro, ACE, or equivalent).
- Current First Aid & CPR (Canadian source with in-person component).
- Asset:Personal Training Certification (BCRPA, canfitpro, ACE, or equivalent).
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and able to manage digital content and operational reporting.
- Soft Skills: You are a diplomatic communicator who remains professional and calm under pressure, handles escalated feedback with ease, and takes full ownership of the facility’s success.
The Details
- Schedule: 3 days/week. 12 hours/week plus classes. Part-time with flexibility required to oversee site operations and staff.
Hours may be supplemented with opportunities for Personal Training starting at $ 35/hr and Group Fitness instruction starting at $ 27/hr or additional hours at other sites.
- Compensation: $21-$23 based on experience and skillset.

- Start Date: Training ASAP with regular shifts commencing May 11, 2026.
