Position Overview

The QA/QC Coordinator supports Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across assigned facilities, construction, renovation, and infrastructure upgrade projects. This role ensures compliance with contractual requirements, applicable codes and standards, Project Implementation Manuals, and owner-specific QA/QC protocols throughout pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases.

The QA/QC Coordinator works closely with Project Managers, Task Managers, Construction Managers, and stakeholders to monitor work quality, verify compliance, document findings, and support continuous improvement of quality processes across facilities and construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and/or Task Manager to ensure adherence to contractual requirements, approved project documents, and established QA/QC procedures.
  • Implement and monitor projectspecific Quality Management Plans across all phases of work.
  • Perform field inspections, spot checks, selective sampling, and general observation of construction and facility upgrade activities.
  • Review contractor and subcontractor work for quality, workmanship, sequencing, and compliance.
  • Monitor and document corrective actions, NCRs, punch list items, and deficiency resolutions.
  • Support coordination of thirdparty inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Review change orders and field modifications from a QA/QC perspective.
  • Track contract and project health using quality and performance metrics.
  • Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection logs, and photographic documentation.
  • Represent project leadership at meetings and site walks as assigned.
  • Support development of QA/QC procedures, checklists, and tools.Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of QA/QC experience on facilities or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and ISObased quality systems.
  • Experience reviewing drawings, submittals, and closeout documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365® and Procore or similar platforms.Preferred Qualifications
  • Publicsector or institutional facilities experience.
  • Familiarity with MEP systems commissioning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.Benefits
