Job Description

As a Senior Research Analyst in this role, your main responsibilities will include:

Analyzing information such as financial statements, operations/progress reports, asset summary reports, and debt structure.

Preparing deep dive financial models with drivers-based revenue estimations and financial projections for a period of 5-7 years.

Performing financial statement analysis and conducting research on the project/entity based on thorough research from loan origination documents, prior annual assessments, and secondary resources.

Compiling a detailed credit assessment report and elaborately discussing the projects/companys business model, funding mix, strengths and weaknesses, and evaluating its operational and financial risk profile. Providing an industry overview and likely company position within the industry based on secondary research.

Conducting credit evaluation of borrower transaction history, underlying collateral, covenant monitoring, covenant projections, and suggesting early warning signals when applicable.

You are expected to bring domain expertise in project financing operations and act as a Subject Matter Expert. Additionally, you should have an in-depth understanding of financial statement linkages, experience in working on complex financial models, and a strong foundation in credit analysis, credit research, and detailed report writing. A reasonable understanding of the lending process, bank guarantees, and covenant monitoring is also required.

Qualifications required for this role include:

MBA or CA or Masters degree preferred; CFA certification is a plus
