Senior Risk Analyst / Lead Analyst Banking & Financial Services Gurugram/Pune/Mumbai/Chennai 5+ Years

We are looking for experienced professionals with 510 years of expertise in Credit Risk, Portfolio Monitoring, and Corporate/Commercial Lending within the Banking and Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in covenant monitoring, risk grading, watchlist management, waiver/amendment handling, and financial statement analysis. This role requires strong stakeholder management and exposure to managing corporate lending portfolios.

Location: Gurugram / Pune / Mumbai /Chennai

Responsibilities

• Managing corporate/commercial lending portfolios and assessing borrower financial performance.
• Conducting covenant monitoring and tracking borrower compliance with loan terms.
• Identifying covenant breaches and coordinating remediation with internal stakeholders.
• Monitoring watchlist accounts and evaluating early warning indicators for portfolio risks.
• Performing risk grading based on financial statements, leverage, liquidity, and repayment ability.
• Coordinating waiver and amendment requests for lending facilities and covenant changes.
• Preparing portfolio reports, covenant testing reports, and risk summaries for leadership teams.
• Collaborating with Credit, Legal, Relationship Managers, and clients for issue resolution.
• Attending client meetings, calls, and site visits to understand business performance and credit concerns.

Requirements

• Having 5+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Portfolio Monitoring, Commercial Lending, or Corporate Banking.
• Demonstrating strong experience in covenant monitoring, watchlist management, risk grading, and financial statement analysis.
• Possessing exposure to commercial/corporate lending portfolios within Banking or Financial Services.
• Exhibiting strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Holding an MBA/CA/CFA or relevant finance qualification.
