Corvette Logistics Inc. seeking an energetic and outgoing individual to join the team as a Custom's Processing agent in Brampton, ON
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain professional customer relations by identifying and meeting customer needs.
- Finding, fixing and preventing problems/delays in cross border freight movement.
- Ensure policies, procedures are followed.
- Getting all cross border shipments customs cleared.
- Sending paperwork for customs clearance to customs brokers, follow and resolve any issues.
- Generating and providing ACE/ACI manifest to drivers in a timely fashion.
- Creating and closing the shipment bonds.
- Tracking drivers for updates.
- Updating customers with driver updates.
- Answering customer/driver inquiries.
- Checking and replying to all emails
- Planning Fuel stops for Drivers as per fuel prices en route.
- Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cross border operations in dealing with Customs Broker, Shipper/Consignees.
- At least 1 year experience with PARS/PAPS processing.
- Proficient in English, both writing and verbal.
- Good computer skills and Excellent at typing.
- Proficient in MS Office, mainly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to rapidly learn and perform tasks related to the department, new regulations or process/procedure changes.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Flexible to work different shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
