Summary
Core One is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect who will be responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of the tool, ensuring that development practices align with sponsor requirements, security standards, and federal compliance frameworks. Beyond initial delivery, you will continue to lead the team post-deployment by managing maintenance, updates, and feature enhancements to ensure ongoing performance, compliance, and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of the web-based tool using AWS cloud services on Sponsor's classified systems
- Drive and implement application architecture to ensure reliability and compliance with Sponsor and federal requirements
- Oversee coding standards, code reviews, and QA practices.
- Drive the integration of APIs, databases, and other services to support functionality for non-technical users.
- Partner with compliance officers, legal, and the Program Managers, to ensure development, documentation, and reporting meet regulatory expectations.
- Work closely with the IT PM and Sponsor stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Continuously improve system reliability, monitoring, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or more advanced degree, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of cumulative experience spanning IT systems administration, IT system/software development and integration, IT system/software development and integration, IT system/software testing, cybersecurity compliance, IT system troubleshooting, and incident response
- 2+ years of experience in system administration of Sponsor Systems
- 6+ years of experience in application design, development and deployment of classified IC systems of similar scope and complexity
- 4+ years of combined experience in Sponsor’s Amazon Web Services environment (C2S or C2E) cloud systems administration, containerization, cloud environment management, and compliance assessments
- Experience with SecDevOps tools, such as CI/CD, code repositories, testing suites
- Experience providing troubleshooting support for IT systems within IC environment
- Certified in AWS or equivalent cloud technology
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages, designing and administering relational databases, NoSQL data solutions, IT system/software testing and configuration management practices
- Experience using IT operational status tools of Amazon Web Services and implementing IT Operations situational awareness insight using monitoring and logs, such as in Splunk dashboard, Elastic Search, ServiceNow
- TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Agile requirements management and sprint planning for technical IT development teams
- Master’s Degree in any of the above disciplines
- Security+, Certified in Information Systems Security Professional, or equivalent
