Job Description
As the Regional Manager (Retail), you will be responsible for leading a retail and Area Managers team to ensure the store focuses on achieving sales goals, customer service, and the shopping experience. Your role will involve developing internal talent, creating, recommending, and implementing ideas to help the store reach all goals and objectives. You will work closely with distributors and the Marketing team to enhance the brand image.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensuring effective inventory management for the concept in the territory, including order management, stock consolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock utilization, stock return, and shrinkage
- Collecting payments from retail stores and distributors in a timely manner
- Reviewing and analyzing complex problems related to stock and sales, and making effective business decisions
- Dealing with fast/slow lines, new ranges, and end of ranges, and implementing necessary actions
- Pricing merchandise as per prescribed matrix
- Providing monthly feedback on sales, stock positions, and product feedback
- Strategizing and seeking opportunities for concept expansion
- Completing new projects in a timely manner
- Identifying locations for stores based on required process and quality, and understanding territory dynamics
- Ensuring VM implementation, SOP adherence, stock transfer, petty cash approvals, and repairs & maintenance
- Maintaining regular connect with staff for welfare activities
- Hand holding new recruits and ensuring their induction within the company
- Training and monitoring Area Managers to resolve grievances timely
- Managing Area Managers' performance, training, development, and growth
- Providing direction to the team, setting goals, and measuring performance
- Hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Managing employee incentives and attendance approvals
