Job Description: Product Manager

Location: Bavdhan, Pune (5 day onsite)

Industry: NBFC / Fintech (Mandatory)

We are not looking for a traditional coordinator. We need a Modern Product Manager who acts as a bridge between high-level business strategy and deep technical execution. You are someone who understands system architecture as well as user psychology, and you have the leadership maturity to manage and mentor junior product talent.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Ownership: Understand the alternate investment space and work with founders and senior management to define a product strategy that scales from 1 to 100.
• Technical Integration: Translate strategy into detailed requirements and high-fidelity prototypes. You will own the product lifecycle and must be comfortable discussing API contracts, system dependencies, and technical trade-offs with the engineering team.
• People Leadership: Act as a force-multiplier by building and managing the Product organization . You will be responsible for leading juniors, setting high standards for documentation, and fostering a culture of ownership.
• Modern Prioritization: Implement an impact-vs-effort framework that accounts for technical debt, scalability, and speed-to-market.
• User-Centric Growth: Build strong customer empathy and incorporate it into the UX and Design process. You will be expected to build compelling consumer narratives based on deep user research.
• Data-First Execution: Define metrics, dashboards, and automated workflows for monitoring success. Use a data-driven approach to identify opportunity areas and identify bottlenecks before they impact the roadmap.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Work with Engineering, Design, and Sales to create a decisive product plan. You should be able to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders clearly.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of PM experience in B2C consumer-facing products, specifically within the Fintech or NBFC domain.
• Modern PM Toolkit: Familiarity with agile development, but also a deep understanding of Product-Led Growth (PLG) and modern tech-stacks.
• Technical Exposure: You should be "tech-fluent"—able to read API docs, understand data flows, and partner effectively with engineering leads.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading or mentoring junior PMs/analysts . You know how to delegate effectively while maintaining quality.
• Startup Grit: Ability to work independently and drive products with minimal direction. You thrive in a pace-heavy environment with limited resources.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach. We value hustle and a strong bias for action.
• Communication: Ability to formulate data-driven decisions and communicate them with authority to key stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Tried building your own startup from the ground-up or were an early-stage hire.
• Top-Tier Education: Studied at a top engineering college or B-school.
• Tech Background: A background in software engineering or a highly technical role prior to PM-ing is a significant plus.
