Principal Product Manager – Finance Systems (Accounts Payable & Suppliers)Location: Austin, TX (Onsite Monday–Friday)Contract: 6 months (extension likely) | Start: ASAPInterview Process: Two video interviewsAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a seasoned Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution across Accounts Payable (AP) and Supplier domains for a large, complex enterprise environment. This role is highly visible and will be instrumental in building a roadmap for financial systems convergence and application rationalization—improving operational efficiency, strengthening controls, and enabling scalable finance processes that support a large footprint of business operations.What You’ll DoOwn translation of business intent, customer needs, and technical direction into clear requirements and/or product backlog for complex finance applicationsBuild and manage a 12+ month product roadmap aligned to finance and technology objectivesPartner with business and technical stakeholders to map AP processes to system features and identify gaps/opportunitiesAuthor high-quality BRDs and champion strong documentation standardsFacilitate cross-functional alignment across finance, HR, and technology teams to manage dependencies and drive decisionsDevelop business cases for new capabilities and enhancements, securing stakeholder buy-inMonitor trends, satisfaction, and usage metrics to drive continuous improvementSupport planning ceremonies and execution rhythms (e.g., increment planning, prioritization, stakeholder reviews)What You Bring (Required)5–7+ years of relevant experience in product/program ownership for enterprise systemsHands-on experience with Workday (Finance/Accounting/Financials strongly preferred)Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft (AP/payables/supplier-related workflows)Strong understanding of Accounting / Accounts Payable processes and controlsStrong ability to bridge business + engineering teams and communicate clearly to diverse stakeholdersExperience building roadmaps, writing requirements/BRDs, and leading prioritizationNice to HaveMaster’s degreeExperience in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environmentsExperience building systems and processes with inclusive, bias-aware design principlesWhy This RoleHigh visibility and meaningful ownershipOpportunity to shape the future state of enterprise finance platformsWork that directly impacts operational excellence and scalabilityInterested?
