(SET RATE)**Accrued Sick Leave | Paid Federal Holidays | 80 hours of PTO after 12 Months** MUST HAVES:Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (Can hold TS) | Security+ CE (please send copy)3-4+ years of Desktop Deployment/Logistics experience Experience with ServiceNow or Remedy ticketing system Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on IT Desktop Support & Logistics Technician to support end users with day-to-day desktop needs while also managing IT equipment logistics and inventory. This is a hybrid role with desktop support as the primary responsibility and IT logistics as a secondary focus. Key ResponsibilitiesDesktop Support (Primary)Desktop Support Team handles approximately 18,000 NIPR desktops, laptops, and tablets/iPads and iPhones; approximately 3,500-4,000 SIPR desktops; and all printers connected to the networkInstall, configure, and connect computers, monitors, KVMs, and related peripheralsSupport basic computer and networking setups, including device connectivity and workstation readinessIssue computers and IT assets to users, ensuring proper configuration and documentationUpdate and manage support tickets in ServiceNow or RemedyParticipate in computer office standups and daily support coordination IT Logistics & Asset Management (Secondary)Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and assetsTrack stock levels of monitors, laptops, peripherals, and related hardwareEnsure proper storage, organization, and availability of IT equipmentSupport logistics-related tasks tied to onboarding, offboarding, and equipment refreshes Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in desktop support or IT support rolesFamiliarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and basic networking conceptsHands-on experience setting up and connecting workstations and devicesStrong organizational skills with attention to inventory accuracyAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hybrid environment Preferred QualificationsPrior experience with IT asset management or logisticsComfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel. Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team.
