Are you a Certified Dental Assistant looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Public Health department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals and provides dental health prevention and promotion services for communities and populations in Northern Health.
- This position will support the communities of Quesnel and Prince George. Travel is required
- Valid Drivers License needed and access to a personal vehicle.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Successful completion of a recognized Certified Dental Assistant Program and 1 year's recent related experience.
- Current registration and licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant in the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle for work purposes
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to operate related equipment including relevant electronic computer systems
- Ability to work with children.
- Knowledge of techniques and standards of preventive and restorative clinical practice.
Community:
This position is flexible to the Northern Interior Northern Health region, communities of Quesnel or Prince George. Explore these communities northern communities.
