The Group Exercise Instructor supports in leading group fitness sessions for staff, clients, and individuals. With oversight in standard scenarios, this position works together with attendees to conduct workout sessions and establish a secure and welcoming workout atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assists in guiding group exercise sessions aimed at enhancing the well-being of participants.

Assists in teaching individuals about the correct technique, body structure, and adjustments of physical activities to ensure safety and efficiency of workouts.

Guarantees the well-being of individuals when using the gym's exercise machines.

Tailors classes to accommodate different levels of fitness to ensure that all individuals can derive value from the session.

Ensures the group fitness studio remains tidy to maintain a favorable image among clients.

Carries out additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIRED

Required:

A nationally accredited certification from a recognized organization or equivalent specialty certification such as ACE, ACSM, AEA, WaterArt, IFTA, AFAA, or Yoga Alliance

BLS/CPR certified by the American Red Cross of AHA Healthcare provder
