Senior Java and Python Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and self‑motivated Senior Java and Python Developer to automate the deployment of modern trading applications on Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cloud‑native application design, Kubernetes infrastructure, and containerization technologies. This role requires collaboration with global teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient deployment systems across diverse computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable technical solutions using Java, Python, and Kubernetes within Agile squads.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across divisions to deliver integrated, high‑performance systems.
• Partner with the application development community to promote best practices for cloud‑native application design (both stateful and stateless).
• Automate deployment processes and improve system reliability and observability.
• Support and troubleshoot distributed systems in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming.
• Experience with HTTPS/HTTP2 and RESTful API development.
• In‑depth understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, OCI images) and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with observability stacks and modern authentication mechanisms such as OIDC.
• Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience building and deploying distributed and multi‑tenant systems.
• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
