Job Description

Job Summary W e are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join the North America Equity Operations Risk team. This role involves coordinating with Global Risk Managers to perform risk reviews, analyze operational data, and strengthen the control environment. The analyst will contribute to risk reporting, incident management, and process improvement initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities C onduct risk reviews and data analysis to identify control gaps and improvement opportunities Implement new procedures to enhance controls and reduce manual processes Assist line teams with procedure migration, highlighting risks and developing solutions Prepare monthly risk packs and management metrics to ensure transparency for stakeholders Address ad-hoc risk and project-related inquiries from operational teams Contribute to senior management risk reporting, including analysis, trending, and exception management Manage incidents by analyzing operational errors, identifying root causes, and documenting preventative actions Propose process improvements and guide teams on incident management best practices Host risk review calls with internal stakeholders to discuss findings and recommendations Compile and analyze Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and gather commentary from line managers Generate and distribute daily/weekly reports and follow up on key deliverables Required Qualifications Profici ency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Strong interest in leveraging new technologies to improve processes Ability to quickly grasp new information and topics Proven ability to build effective relationships and hold colleagues accountable to risk targets Strong risk management and control mindset Performance-driven, proactive, and able to set and execute agendas independently Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate organizational risk areas Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities Effective communication skills across all organizational levels Ability to present data and reports confidently to stakeholders Strong interpersonal skills to build cross-divisional relationships with Business Units, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Compl iance Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in risk management, operations, or financial services Certifications None required; relevant risk or compliance certifications preferred Education: Bachelors Degree
