Position Overview: The SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Developer will support a large-scale ERP transformation initiative focused on modernizing business processes, technology, and data across enterprise domains including Human Resources, Financial Management, and Procurement. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SSIS packages to support data migration from legacy systems into a centralized data repository. Working closely with architects, technical leads, and cross-functional project teams, the developer will contribute to data migration, transformation, and integration activities critical to the success of the ERP implementation. The position operates within a collaborative, fast-paced environment and plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making through accurate and timely data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with architects and technical leads to analyze and clarify technical specifications and implement business logic
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SSIS packages to support data migration and integration activities
  • Participate in data migration, cleansing, and transformation (ETL) processes across multiple systems
  • Develop and maintain data views within a centralized data repository
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and transformation code
  • Contribute to the development of infrastructure requirements for data repositories
  • Participate in application development and/or configuration activities to meet business needs
  • Ensure version control and proper documentation of SSIS packages and related artifacts
  • Adhere to established development standards, guiding principles, and technical frameworks
  • Participate in defect triage, troubleshooting, and resolution activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and project team members
  • Support ongoing improvements to team processes and development practices

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of IM/IT experience
  • Demonstrated experience in design, development, testing, and deployment of SSIS packages
  • Strong SQL expertise, including complex query design and data manipulation
  • Proven experience with data migration and ETL processes in large-scale environments
  • Experience translating functional requirements into technical design and implementation
  • Familiarity with multiple development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of development standards, processes, and continuous improvement practices
  • Experience working within multi-vendor or large, complex project teams considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
