EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this Clerk 3 position, you will be a Scheduler for our Transportation Department. This is responsible clerical and technical work that involves scheduling, coordination, and support of the transportation services we provide to Wayne County residents who qualify for our programs. Duties includes preparing driver manifests, maintaining consumer and trip data, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and supporting daily operations in a courteous and organized manner. Our team will rely on you to complete all work in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and County policies. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.This position may have irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. This position will have some travel in and out of county for meetings.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
