About the Opportunity
Our client is Canada's largest independent network of specialty health clinics, operating 145+ locations across nine provinces under a multi-brand platform. The organization has grown significantly through acquisition and continues to scale, with a corporate finance team that supports a complex, multi-entity structure spanning several distinct brands.
This Accounting Technician contract exists to provide dedicated transactional accounting support across the corporate group during a period of sustained growth. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the role sits at the intersection of accounts payable, corporate expense management, and treasury — touching multiple business units on a daily basis.
The right person will keep the engine running: ensuring credit card activity is coded accurately and approved on time, reconciliations are clean, and the AP and AR teams have reliable support. This is a role for someone who's precise, self-directed, and comfortable operating across systems in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit corporate department credit card receipts into Concur, apply correct coding, and route for approval
- Review end-user credit card transactions to verify proper coding, taxes, and business purpose
- Complete Visa reconciliations across all corporate credit cards
- Download recurring vendor invoices from applicable portals and assist the AP team with processing
- Review coding, taxes, and business purpose on recurring and ad hoc invoices captured in Concur
- Record inventory packing slips and follow up on any queries from clinic locations
- Assist with bank reconciliations across multiple Resolve Group companies
- Review employee expense submissions for accurate coding, taxes, and business purpose to support timely payment
- Provide general support to the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed
- Assist with ad hoc requests from the finance team
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in a general accounting or accounting administration role
- Hands-on experience with Concur (expense and invoicing) and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Business Central or a comparable ERP
- Strong attention to detail — you catch coding errors before they become reconciliation problems
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of transactions independently and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable working across multiple entities and brands with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intact, Sage 50, or NetSuite
- Background in a multi-entity or multi-brand corporate environment
- Exposure to clinic or healthcare operations
