We are hiring fresher B.Sc Chemistry candidates for Navi Mumbai location Experience - 0-2 years Fresher can apply Location- Navi Mumbai Qualification- B.Sc Chemistry Job Summary The Leaching Operator is responsible for carrying out leaching operations in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure optimum recovery of metals/minerals while maintaining safety, quality, and environmental compliance. The role involves monitoring process parameters, handling chemicals, maintaining records, and coordinating with production and laboratory teams. Key Responsibilities Process OperationsOperate and monitor leaching tanks, reactors, agitators, pumps, and associated equipment. Prepare and maintain leaching solutions as per process requirements. Monitor critical process parameters such as pH, temperature, concentration, flow rates, and retention time. Ensure maximum recovery and process efficiency through proper operational control. Carry out sampling and coordinate with the laboratory for analysis. Quality ControlMaintain product quality standards and process consistency. Record operational data and prepare daily production reports. Identify process deviations and take corrective actions. Safety & ComplianceFollow all safety procedures while handling chemicals and process equipment. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to plant safety regulations. Comply with environmental and waste-disposal guidelines. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near-misses immediately. Maintenance & HousekeepingConduct routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance requirements. Assist the maintenance team during breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area. Required QualificationsDiploma/B.Tech/B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining, Chemistry, or related field. ITI candidates with relevant experience may also be considered. Experience2–5 years of experience in leaching operations, hydrometallurgy, mineral processing, chemical manufacturing, or metal extraction plants. Experience in handling acids, alkalis, and industrial chemicals preferred. Required SkillsKnowledge of leaching processes and chemical handling. Understanding of process control parameters and production operations. Ability to read process flow diagrams and operating procedures. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
