QC Chemist

Job Description – Junior QC Chemist for Kolkata Position: Junior QC Chemist Experience- 0-2 years Freshers can apply to Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry Key Responsibilities Raw Material Testing ● Conduct routine testing of incoming raw materials as per standard specifications. ● Maintain accurate test records and reports. In-Process & Finished Product Testing ● Perform quality checks at various production stages. ● Verify and approve finished products before dispatch. Technical Documentation ● Prepare and update Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for all products. ● Maintain calibration and documentation records for laboratory instruments. Competitor Analysis ● Test and analyze competitor samples periodically. ● Maintain comparative quality and performance records. Laboratory Management ● Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and smooth functioning of QC laboratory instruments. ● Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the laboratory. Product Development Support ● Assist the R&D team in developing new product grades. ● Support improvement of existing product formulations. Required Skills ● Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and analytical techniques. ● Good understanding of chemistry fundamentals. ● Knowledge of MS Excel and documentation practices.
